Consensual and safer

All ties, intensity, and risks are discussed beforehand to set clear boundaries and protect our shared space.

While Shibari carries inherent risks, your physical and psychological safety comes first, and verbal consent remains essential throughout.

Connective and artistic

Each person I tie is different, so every session unfolds spontaneously as a mutual co-creation.

To me, Shibari is an art that can trigger emotive responses, spark inspiration and connectivity through the mastery of rope, revealing both our strength and our fragility.

Somatic and energetic

Rooted in Japanese Shibari traditions, my style embraces a holistic rope experience.

Through the somatic stimuli of the rope, the tied person is invited to surrender to various physical sensations that one would not get experience outside of this context.

About RMZ

My exploration of Shibari (縛り) began in 2017. Initially intrigued by its history and aesthetics, I'm still continuing to study it ever since. While I primarily work as a rigger, my experience as a "tied one" has also deeply informed and refined my approaches as the person tying.

During my travels, I had the chance to meet many talented riggers who helped me evolve my style toward a more connective and somatic approach to Shibari. Japan, the birthplace of this practice, was naturally a key step in my learning journey.

Fascinated by Eastern medicines as well as the infinite potential of body and mind, my Shibari is also nourished by the practice of Thai yoga massage and meditation. My approaches to tying are shaped by the range of experiences I bring to it, and my other areas of study help inform it. My teaching is deeply rooted in a deep curiosity and desire to explore the full range of possibilities within the practice.
